Took two weeks hit the Crowsnest and travelled a little bit. Really liked Midway BC.

Was doing some recon on some placer claims for sale in the kootney region.

Highgraded a 5 gallon bucket from each of three places..... Brought them home with me.

Going back next spring to buy a claim or two.

Some very big climbs... with a very heavy 4 season travel trailer.

By spring I hope to have a Pacbrake for the rig...

Here I have my 12V electric sluice running into my highbanker. Running it off the Honda :D

This is me, 15 or so feet off the ground on a slippery tree thinking to myself "I am too young to die" This is up on Monashee Creek out by Cherryville BC. 15k of the nastiest mountain logging road I have ever been on....

Took an HOUR to drive 15kilometers in to the claim from the highway... massive drop offs, stupid potholes....  BEARS!!!! Were not going to buy that one...

You will never guess what the tow vehicle is....

Seriously you came to B.C and you were only an hour away from me and didn't swing by for your bushings. Tisk Tisk.  I have a few claims myself. Good times. :D

Hubs and I talked about it two days ago and he said we should stop by this spring and visit you when we come back out.

He wants to go back sometime this winter... I am not too keen on driving those roads while toting the trailer and all our gear...

Being on a river or creek hunting for gold is fun and relaxing. I got a bucket of cons from Norwegian Creek (right at the bridge where everyone else was) I got a bucket of cons from the Kettle river and another bucket from railroad creek on the Monashee claim.

Came home and prompty built myself a miller water table and set it and my cleanup sluice in the crawlspace.... I'll run those cons all winter long... dreaming of being back on a river somewhere.

I hear you. We live in a very special area with lots of gold. Finley Creek, Moyie, Lumberton. They pulled 6000 onz out of a placer claim on the Moyie, pretty nuts.
