Hmmm...it is interesting that you say that. While my Straman is currently carburated D15, the conversion to b16 will begin soon. Parts are in my possesion and the wiring has been plotted out. Time is being alotted to this and soon the "Spyder to Speedster" project begins.

I have an article on the then-new Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder, also built by Straman. It listed all the cars he converted (except one-offs) and how many of each. It said there were 310 CRX's converted from 1985-87. I think the article was from 1994ish and from Automobile Magazine. I cant locate it right now, but I know the number was 310. That means 50 cars converted for 1985 seems plausable. I have a 1986 Straman CRX with 64K miles. It is as solid as a regular CRX. This was one well done conversion!
