i have been tossing around the idea of a bar that goes across the car behind the seat and attaches to where the seat belts attach to the B pillar. it would have a mounting bracket somewhere toward the middle or closer to the passenger side for the camera to attach to. just a thought, i think its even been done before.
When I die, i want to go asleep peaceful.......... not screaming and freaking out like everyone else in the car
"i left the bar a little after you and ended up flipping my car in the arbys drive thru"
IM A LOSER!!! my car pulls harder when spinning than any "highly modified" EW

My camcorder fits perfectly between the passenger seat and headrest.

Ive got something similar to that on the link but mine ends up putting the camera inbetween the two seats right in the middle. I used two square tubes of alluminum and just had it attached to the headrest like those guys did. Works good and you get to keep your head rest on.

Just going with the latest 80's theme! He's old school 80's. Only us of a 30's or older may remember this show.

Y not do what the cops do and dash mount the cam in the middle. You could also mount a cam where the header panel grill is also etc. What exactly r u trying to focus on and y.

Well i plan on buying a few different kinds of mounts. on that will just show the open road like the one E-AT me linked to. i'd put that one one the windshield. then i would make one like i linked to and put a wide angle lens on the camera that way i could see the whole interior (me shifting or whatever and you could see outside also. then i would make/buy another camera mount just for the gauges that should be the easiest probably would even have to make a fancy mount. and a couple mounts for outside the car these would be the trickyest because i don't want any damage to this camera. that would suck if i go out for a run to catch a shot right over my wheel well and next thing you know i have a rock lodged in the lense. so i was thinking something that would go out the sunroof. that would be pretty cool.

I like the idea of a wide angle lens. I may look into that.

I have it easy. There is a diagonal bar running right behind my seats (part of the roll cage). There are tons of camera mounts specifically designed to clamp on to roll bars.
You are thinking of Alien Nation. Originally a movie, and later a series.
