What cars have 450cc injectors that they could donate to my brown-top?

I have no idea what a Talon or a Neon is BTW. We don't get many USDM cars in NZ. So JDM names would be great...

I have no idea what DSM or blue-tops are from either (assuming they're US terms?).


Edit: just googled 'Talon', and looking at the engine I'm guessing it's a Chrylser (ie rebadged Mitsubishi) - which would be great if these are the injectors that will fit a g1 rail, as JDM turbo cars parts from Mitisis and Subbies are plentyful here...

I would think that the Mitsu Evo would have what you are looking for. You'd want to confirm that with someone who actually knows though...

DSM = diamond star motors. there any mitsubushi dodge eagle before 95 ( i think thats the last year they were produced) any 1st or 2nd generation eagle talon, mitsubushi eclipse or dodge stealth or mitsu evo or that is turbocharged will have good injectors. they range between 390cc to 510cc ( i think) best bet being 450cc's from the eagle talon or mitsu eclipse turbo manual tranny. the autos have smaller injectors because a smaller turbo. they go right in, some say you have to bore the seals, some say just forcein em works. they also plug right into our harnesses......

Not to sure....but you may be able to work with an old Mitsubishi Starion or FTO.......check Mazda RX-7's also. They RX-7 injectors aren't as big as a 450cc, but get the job done very nicely.

The best place I know of to get this stuff is on DSM Trader. These guys are selling 450cc eclipse injectors all the time, surely you can find one that will ship internationally. That's my .02.

i was told that 450cc are evo injectores talons and eclispe range from 390cc to 510cc and the rx7 i believe is 460cc

Automatic DSM's are 390cc, the manual versions are bigger.

But all the info about the Talon's and the Eclipse's is useless for him (unless he buys them and gets them shipped to him). Those cars were never released over there, just a north america thing.

if you guys in NZ get Chryslers look around for turbo Lasers... they were considered a DSM.

Either that or a 2g RX7 turbo inectors.. but watch out, they had 2 primary injectors and 2 secondary, usualy the 2ndary were bigger.

im pretty sure the SR20DET in the silvias should have 450s. the RB20DET might have 450's also. the rb26dett has 550's im almost sure. those are both skyline motors also. the 7mgte supra MKIII should have 450's and the supra 2jzGTE should have 550s. also the soarer with the 3.0 I6 is gunna be 450's and the 4.0 V8 (if they offered that in NZ) will be 550's.

man i really hate that i know stuff like this.
