I always wanted one, I thought they looked rockin and I still watch Back To The Future 1-3 from time to time unsure.gif

And now I guess, I could, with deep enough pockets, buy a complete freshly built DeLorean ordered to spec! Check it out!

$57k? I wasn't born 'til after these things had come and gone, but isn't there a hazard of freeway-speed-summersaults?

The 1G CRX had been considered at one point during writing of the script to be the time machine. Just think... Had they used it, it would be our cars as the cultural icon, with every part now being remanufactured and available for sale. sad.gif

The Delorean company is now based out of Houston. THey refirbish and are starting to update the motor and drivetrains on them. No word yet on when they will start production on a new model.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

Its not so much that they are remanufacturing the parts, there was an INCREDIBLE stockpile of components left over when the company when bust. The Houston warehouse is loaded to the brims with these excess parts.
1987 CRX DX - Devacced, excellent interior, runs perfect, the fun car.
Note: 1G CRX's are not durable against late model motorcycles...

Under steer is when you hit the wall with your front end.
Over steer is when you hit the wall with your rear end.
Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you move the wall.
