1gencrx and I met up in Tulsa the other day. Hasn't been a GSR for a while. we were talking about just meeting up for an afternoon at least once a year. BP' and gimp have been offline for a while. So I'm not planing on making it an overnight er. Just a parking lot at a restaurant. Getting a host was always the hardest part. thinking a sat or sun after the heat breaks in the fall. AC has always been a comfort issue.

Just throwing it out there. Location depending on who's committed. In the past, there were several in dfw hence the past locations.

Keep this in mind and communicate interest when it makes sense.


2013 was skipped. 2014 will make it #7.

I am interested , i have been a ghost lately but i am hoping to be around more as i start to tackle my swap in the coming months ....

Sounds good. Nothing set now, just trying to see if there's interest. In the past, DFW has always been the central location. I don't mind driving so it need not be.

Maybe a meet within a meet would get more people interested.  We could invite second gens too.  Import Face Off is in Noble, OK in September.  We could all park together as a CRX club and there would be other stuff to see and do as well.  

I'd be in for that.

bp always mentioned there being a Japanese car get together one Sunday a month if Dallas. I'm definitely ready for a road trip outside dfw

If ever I can fit a meet into my school/work schedules, I'm there... Probably in a really boring car though.

Are ther any Japanese only or Honda meets in your neck of the woods?

Heyhey. School is keeping me thoroughly occupied. It's unsettling almost always being the oldest student in the room and often being about the same age as the teacher.

I don't know of anything worthy of note but I don't keep up. There is a semi local auto x scene but I'm far from involved.

How's it going? Haven't been by in awhile thought I'd drop in and say what's up.

The first year with my son has been an awakening experience.  I would be up for a meet.  The first Saturday evening of the month is the Japanese nostalgic meet in my area.  But definitely need an rpr meet in the near future.

Any interest for a meet this year? After BP, Zak and Gimp left, the meets fizzled a few years ago.

There's a monthly Japanese metal meet somewhere here in dfw. Might make sense to meet up there... Or one in another city. I'm game to get the beater outta the barn

Thoughts?

I'd happily make the drive for a DFW meet, or somewhere in the general vicinity, if my schedule permits it. I work a lot of weekends and my schedule is subject to change.
