First of all, I apologize in advance. I dont know very much at all about cars, but I'm trying to learn so i can be more self sufficient.

OK, heres the problem. When i accelerate through any significantly sized turn, I hear a succession of clicks coming from the front end. I took it to the local Honda mechanic, and he said that it was a problem with both of the front axles, and for him to fix it, it would cost $420.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on installing the axles myself, where I should get the axles, or if he was actually giving me a good price.
