ok my girlfrind just picked up a 04 jetta gli, anyone kno what kinda numbers its pushing hp, tourque, 1/4 mile maybe, it has the 1.8 turbo engine with an aem intake biggrin.gif

Horsepower : 180 hp @ 5500 rpm
Torque : 173 lb-ft @ 1950 rpm
Redline : 6700 rpm

Top speed : 145 mph
0-60 mph : 6.9 sec.(manual), 7.5 sec.(auto)
0-¼ mile : 15.7 sec @ 89.0 mph(manual)
60-0 braking distance : 130 ft.
200 ft skidpad : 0.79 g

my girl has a 99 bug.. or is it a lemon? i dunno.. same shape, though. hehee. garbage, but she loves it!!

dude, VW cant even compete with GM when it comes to worst quality. close but GM has everyone beat there.

My aunt had a 1.8t Jetta. I loved the car, awesome power and that german feel.

However I DETEST VW Transmissions, so rubbery compared to a Honda. And yes it had a bad quality score. Good luck with it, she will love it.
