ya 2100 sounds like alot of cash! with that kinda money id buy alittle welder and some steel, wire brushes, steel cutters, rivets, and some thick undercoating, and do it yourself! ![wink.gif](https://www.redpepperracing.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
still be alot cheaper.
tho i wouldnt just rivet it in.... id do some welding to it as well. overlay a few inches if ya can and seal the crap outta it

They both have ups and downs. Riveting, specially with alum rivits, will prevent rust, as long as you bond the two parts with silicone and spray it after with rock gaurd.
Welding, especially with a mig welder, can create rust very quickly, but you would have a better hold, and it would look a little nicer. I personally used aluminum pans with silicone and rivets.

Welding should be the only option. The floorpan of a crx is part of its frame because it is a unibody car. Some states even require that a unibody cars floorpan repair be welded to pass state inspection. The more rigid the the frame is the better the car will handle.
old crxs never die they just get faster
