I never thought I would be posting this...

I need to sell my CRX.
I bought the car new in 86, It is still wearing the original red paint, I replaced the A/C a few years ago (NOS)
I put in a low mileage Japanese engine (JDM?) a few years ago. dark tint, The car has two different security systems on it...which, so far has worked...but they keep trying!

it also comes with some extra parts. I have a set of SI door panels, an extra dashboard, and an extra hood in perfect shape. an extra driver side mirror, extra visors, rear view mirror, and many extra pieces and parts i've picked up along the way.

The engine doesn't burn oil, doesn't leak, doesn't smoke. 5 speed, clutch still has plenty of life.

The bad:
I started having an idle problem a couple of months ago. It just started out of the blue one day.
(that's how I found this place)
Well, it still has an idle problem. it's intermittent. I'm pretty sure it's a vacuum leak. I'm sure many of you guys here could find the problem and fix it in an afternoon.

Yes, that is a fog light switch.
I use to live in the mountains where we had lots of fog, so I kind of needed them...

But, I no longer have them on the car.
The lens on one got broke, and they were pretty expensive, so I just took them off the car.
They were Per Lux fog(sp?) lights.

And no, the car isn't missing the header panel, I put a new one on the car a couple years ago (OEM)

This isn't exactly a ghost story, but it is pretty freekin' strange.

I noticed a very, very...VERY bright star in the sky, probably about 5-6 months ago.
I didn't pay too much attention to it, I figured it was probably Jupiter.

Well, about a week ago, some one tried to steal my car, and needless to say,
I didn't get any sleep the rest of the night.

While I was out front of the house, I looked up, and there was that bright star...
(the one I had thought was Jupiter) then I looked over to the west, and WTF...(OMGWTFBBQ...he he)
There was another totally bright ass star.

Well, this just didn't seem right to me.
So, I got out the camera, tripod, binoculars.

I checked first with the binoculars... These "stars" were not looking like any star I've ever seen.
And I can assure you, they weren't planets either.

Well, I've been on a mission ever since...I've taken a ton of pictures of these things.

I'm sure most of you guys have probably seen the "stars" that I'm talking about.
They aren't stars.

They move (or appear to) closer then farther (brighter and dimmer) They totally change color, and shape.

I've been taking pics almost every night of these frikkin things.

I don't want to say they are UFO's
...but they sure might be.

Another thing here...the reason I know they aren't stars or planets is because they don't rise and set with the rest of the stars.
The one I've been seeing for months now is usually pretty high up in the sky, kinda to the south.
That one stays up in roughly the same place all night until the sun comes up,
(and I wouldn't doubt it if it's up there all day, I just can't see it because of the sun)

So, it ain't a ghost story, but it's pretty damn trippy either way.

These are the same star, all snapped within a few minutes of each other.
The last one I snapped when the star appeared to get really dim...I almost couldn't see it at that point.
Then it was all bright again with in a few minutes.

Just tried to steal my Fukkin' car!! (CRX)
Thank god I have a LOUD alarm.

They ended up fuckin' up the mirror on the drivers side, it's almost hanging off the car.

When I got out there the alarm was going off and the door was wide open...and no one in sight.

I can't even believe anyone would be dumb enough to not notice the bright red light flashing right on the dash.

Whats fucked up is I'm almost sure it was someone who lives real close.
My room mate and I walked all up and down the streets and there wasn't any cars coming or going...
no dogs barking, no one walking around.

That sucks, because they will probably be back...or at least be watching, and waiting.

Ok, I need to get rid of my extra 1st gen stuff.
If my prices are too high make me an offer (or I'll trade for some repairs I need on my crx... :-)

1st gen dashboard (86-87) $120
1st gen hood (86-87) $120
1st gen Si door panels both sides (86-87) both for $80

The door panels are a little dirty, but they have no cracks in them, the hood is straight.

Like I said if you don't like my prices, make me an offer.
