I don't know what they were trying to do with the headlights??? If they made the hood normal and fixed the headlights it would actually be pretty cool with a normal paintjob. I'm warming up to it, but I still say it could have been sooo much better. Some of the other imports they have been doing lately have been awesome; I don't know why they felt the need to rice this one out.

I was hoping for something inline with the AE-86 they did, I have the Cars of the Decades edition of that on my desk. That car is awesome.

Wish I could have been a fly on the wall during their brain storming session.
I'm sure words like "Mugen Pro" were thrown around.
The car seems to be getting more attention lately.
I was at a local high school yesterday to photograph an event.
when I went to leave I found almost 2 dozen kids checking out my car.
they were arguing about the age........ they were all wrong.

I think he is referring to the fact that the ballade sports had flip up headlights.

It's cool to have a story behind it. It's definitely growing on me. I wonder if it will actually have an engine molded in the back?

This is from the comic:

Looks like a GC8 STI swap, that's pretty sweet!

It's definitely funky looking. They should have made the body one piece and just painted (or not painted) the headlights. I don't mind the mild Mugen-like bodywork, though the hood rakes down too low. That just means I'll have to make one hinge forward, put a big motor in the back, and add Real Rider tires! I see buying up gobs of these just to customize them.
