One of these days i'm going to try the bodykit on the CRX.
If it looks OK, then it will be painted white and mounted on the car...
However, the original bumpers and skirts must also fit! When I don's like the bodykit I want to put the original on the car whitout drilling/glueing or whatever...

BTW, the DOHC engine fits just fine under the standard hood. If you do get some rubbing, you can cut out the bracing over the cam gear covers.
To futher this if its a 2g zc head you HAVE to cut out the braces.

Nice car.
I see what Nivek is talking about. You can see the underside of the hood bump in the second "window" from the right. The hood bracing appears to bisect it. I don't think the legendary dohc bump does anything for clearance. I don't have a clearance issue with my D16A1 running all the covers.

We never had any ZC clearance issues on both the 87 Fi ZC and 86 carbed ZC.
They just seemed to fit fine.

the bracing is different. compare the pictures. the non bulged hood's bracing turns in above the cam gears, the bulged hood goes straight by.

Nice car.
The "bump" in the hood is to clear the cam gears for the DOHC and is well forward of the strut brace.
BTW, the DOHC engine fits just fine under the standard hood. If you do get some rubbing, you can cut out the bracing over the cam gear covers.

i believe nivek knows this he was just wondeing why the were the bump was that there is no indent as to were the cames would sit. But i think there probly is you just can see it cuase it father up on the hood. But im not posotive.
Yeah im not that much of a noob scott - Ive never seen the underside of a ZC hood before, and after seeing that picture it really seems like they bump isnt nessecery since the bracing is blocking any added clearance.
holy shit i butcherd that. I cant even make out what i was trying to type. I look as im trying to speak ebonics. o well
haha i just wanted to quote all this so it will look funny.
yeah yeah i know i suck
