Okay, so I am following this thread to finish off my devac and I notice my card is different than crxfanatic's. Here are pics of mine I just took. Someone lead my down the path to proper devac(ing).

That's what I'm led to believe.....the entire motor is JDM I am told (or at least was).

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

Well technicaly, most EW's are JDM engines concedering they were all built in Japan... but your carb is TRUE JDM Hawtness biggrin.gif

actually the 'true jdm" carbs i've seen are very similar to our usdm carbs... like this one...



i have the same one, it's from a jdm dohc ZC (not mine in the pic but identical) and i devaced it the same as i devaced my usdm dx carb. and it ran BEAUTIFULLY i might add. switching out the carb opened up a bit more power than i expected on the engine setup i was running... HF head on a dx block biggrin.gif lol

What I meant was my particular engine was imported from Japan with less than 35k on it. At least that's what the company I got it from told me. wink.gif
