Been meaning to ask this. So i do alot of driving at night/early morning. With our cars being low to the ground and some of the new trucks headlights being brighter than the sun in July. what do you guys do to cope with blinding headlights in our rearviews? i am mainly talking about the outside ones. the inside one i can flip up if i had one..... Are there any aftermarket ones that auto dim or a kit somewhere to upgrade them? a film? or is just tinting the windows the only option for us? If no upgrades are avaliable you guys have any solution suggestions?

I have my mirrors set broad to minimize blind spots, I have to tilt my head to see the side of my car.
This also has the effect of keeping the headlights behind me shining onto my ears, and not my eyes. There is a spot in each adjacent lane that will glare, but it's easy to ignore until the distance changes a bit.
It doesn't completely solve the problem, but it does make it far less bothersome.

I drive in the dark a lot myself.
I turned my mirror down so that to see out the whole thing I have to
nod my head down forward.
It makes it a little difficult to see the police way back. But these new lights
are just so annoying it is worth it.

If you can see the same car in more than one mirror then they aren't adjusted properly. The 3 mirrors should form a panoramic view of the rear. Often times, folks adjust the side mirrors so that they can see the side of their vehicle, this creates a large blind spot next to the car. It does take some getting used to, but I think it's worth it. My wife can't get used to this so she messes up the mirrors every time.

auto dim?..
these aren't luxury cars....
actually, BROADWAY offers special coated rear view mirrors (interior only)
which help reduce glare.
They actually work and range anywhere from $18-$30 based on width size.
PLUS!, you increase your field of vision.
Most people here in So.Cal. enjoy the 270mm or the 300mm. (very common)
I had to go with the 400mm convex. my favorite.
I can see into next week... LOL
