so, now that I have an account here, I'm finally able to post these up.
I am the owner in question in these two threads
Honda-Tech
RPR

I have a set of 1G CRX/3G Civic Koni Yellows for sale. $750 + shipping takes em.
2x 8044 1033SPORT
1x 8741 1110LSPORT
1x 8741 1110RSPORT

As you can see from the pics, I pulled everything but the springs.
Rear rubber is in great shape and I wouldn't hesitate to reuse it.
Front rubber is good, rubber is soft and not cracked. But not perfect.

Struts themselves seem to have the same compression feel as the brand new set that I stuck on my 91 CRX a couple months ago. I won't guarantee they don't need a rebuild, but I'm pretty darn sure they don't need one.

More pics for legitimacy

+1 It would be refreshing to see these go to a worthy member for a fair price. If you are in the Northeast, I'm happy to come by and pick these up.

I paid $750 for my shorted konis a couple years back from a well known member on here. Your price is on the way high side, considering you have no idea the condition(other than what they feel like) and mileage.

On the positive side, thanks for offering them here. If you were posting them high and expecting to get low balled like on h-t, I think that's what some of us figured, it really isn't necessary since most of us aren't like that- I'd say it mostly scares off legitimate buyers like myself. I'd like to have a set of Konis and I'd be prepared to buy a set for the right price.
Silentsnow- I think the went for ~5-600 new

+1 on what you said here. I was prepared to buy them for a legit price. I feel that around 1/2 the new price is generally a good place to start when buying used parts especially when theyre in unknown condition. I offered $350 because I will most likely have them rebuilt being they are unknown mileage. I bought some Tokico Illuminas that "Felt" fine to the seller but when theyre on the car theyre not so fine. The car puts a lot more weight on them than you can with your hands. I PM'd him on honda tech before he came here and he told me he wanted $600 and now hes telling everyone $750+shipping. Hes just trying to get as much as possible for them

Gee, $750 used, unknown condition (and yes you need a shock dyno to see how they are worn), not shortened.

Mr. D's Tien prices look pretty good now huh!

I would agree $350 is a fair price. Used shocks are always a gamble, even if they are rebuildable.

M-pros are looking like a pretty damn good deal when you look at what this guy wants. I have legitmetly concidered using a set of universal bilstien shocks as they are reasonable, rebuildable, and wouldnt be overly difficult to adapt to our cars.

These are becoming hard to find but not worth the listed price with all do respect, Marcus allows payments with the MP TEINs (how i bought mine) and considering you still need ground control sleeves for the rear with eibach springs, shortening also AND possibly spring adapters to match up to Teins, mite as well get the Teins which come with all that, I say 100 a piece and your set. IMO
