Looks like enough interest to do another set, plus I sold mine so I need some too... smile.gif

A deposit of $75US to [email protected] will assure you a set.

Thanks
Tom

I am interested. Do you have the measurements between the mounting holes?

Question about mounting holes. Looks like two holes mount to the two stock shock tower holes. Two more need to be drilled 45 degrees from the stock holes. Two others on the long end are to mount a tower brace? I race ITC - just want to make sure I can mount these without being accused of removing too much shock tower material (4 holes vs. my current camber plates with 3).

Can I buy these through PayPal?

Thanks,
Keith

If im right you dont have to drill anny holes.. you remove the current Strud holder out of the strut tower and place the caberplates like on this pictures:

http://www.redpepper...y/cplates-proto

that are pictures of the mounting of the prototypes i diddnt find annything more usefull to see the way they are mounted.

the new camber plates look verry good tom biggrin.gif i still need a set soon biggrin.gif and im verry pleased with your Stainless Panhardbar biggrin.gif

We have one project being done at the machinist, once that is done (this weekend hopefully) he will start on the camber plates. You can either have them anodized black, or not anodized at all.

I bought a set from the first batch and only had a few small problems:

1. The main bolts were a little too short. They still worked but Tom quickly sent me longer bolts to make sure there were enough threads on in the nut. I assume the next batch won't have this problem.

2. A plastic cover on the firewall had to be removed along with the bracket on the shock tower. As you can see in this picture this camber plate is raised to clear it. I just need to grind down the bracket to make fit it again or just drill a new hole.

(not my car, not the rpr camber plate, just used for reference about the cover and bracket)

3. I'm getting a small rattling between the bearing and machined aluminum sleeve, about 1mm of play. I believe a simple washer will fix this problem but my car is in the shop right now so I can't work on it yet.

Other than those small issue the camber plates are very nice. I was also pleasantly surprised when I noticed that the holes for the main bolts were threaded, it would have been easier to just make them regular holes but Tom didn't take any short cuts there.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the installed camber plates but I'll try to have some up tomorrow.
