I street raced ONE time....and got nothing out of it, even then it was just me and a friend goofing off so i STILL think it's dumb.

Street racing is dangerous even minus innocent bystanders...tracks have safety personnel for a reason.

the medical attention will be there when you need it!! Street racing you just get people running like hell and not telling anyone when someone wrecks, you hear about it all the time in the news.

You CAN NOT possibly make a case for street racing, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE!

The difference is that track personnel know the risks and choose to be there. Innocent people on a public street dont agree to those risks.

if u wanna race for cash u prob could but for the most part it is for the respect and to have a good time..... i can see why it is looked down upon....but dont knock it till you try it...cause its fun as hell...an amazing adrenaline rush

It may be a rush, but it's dumb as hell, especially on a dark back road somewhere, what if someone loses it and takes out a line of people? Or if they don't do you have EMTs on stand by for the "just in case" Take it to the track, if there is not one near you, try autocross, if that still doesn't work, maybe you should get an r/c car or something, at least you can't kill someone w/ that.

skrzastek: who is a registered nurse and EMT, who autocrosses, and run on the road course, and who is a volunteer for the track EMS, who has taken care of many dumb people who have street raced and lost THEIR LIFE

PEOPLE!!! SETTLE DOWN! relax with the preaching, you cannot and will not convince some people of your beliefs like that. especially the bashing stuff.
Now I for one do not condone it. Its just plain retarded, but then again I've never been to his town and i dont know much about how his area is, so I wont get too mad. I will say that a 2g is going to be the same amount of work and money to modify BUT it will still weigh more than a 1g!!! I understand wanting to get rid of it but you wont be better off IMO. If you do your racing, do it safe. the last thing u expect is the one that bites you in the ass Use your common sense and you should be ok. lets just keep the argueing to a minimum, i dont want to have to post the retarded internet argueing picture.

i've been street racing twice, back in my younger years, and it was to shut up the punks in the corollas who thought they were faster than my mustang, but i learned that that is a dumb thing to do. that being said.....street racing is dumb, and so is this post.....
