There are a lot of pics...I didnt even show ALL of them. I just wanted to share my joy...esp since i faield sooo many times...I finally got it right! And maybe this can help someone else too.
For some background, and to laugh at my n00bness, check out the original thread here:

Well, here is my 100% kablammyman approved engine. I dont trust machine shops anymore, and theres no need to now...well, i cant bore out a block alone, and im not ready to do a DIY hone job...but you get what I'm saying.
As you may know, i had a problem with a rebuilt engine. So, what was the problem? Scroed bearings, AND a rear main seal that wasnt properly installed (hence the "lazy" starter). The rear main seal was not pushed in all the way, so the flywheel rubbed on it, slwing it down...and keeping it from starting. It also made a lot of blue eraser bits all over the place. :x Argh!
Anyway, i redid it all myself...like a man should. Now that the shit runs, I am a man. 8) I learned a shit ton, and I need to thank Andrew aka 8689tegs for putting up with all my questions and pictures asking for help. I learned about several test during the tear down and rebuild process, like how much tq it should take to rotate an engine durring the differnt phases of the rebuild. Also, how to protect the crank and cylinder walls from knicks when doing work.
I also learned the hard part of rebuilding is tearing down the motor and making measurments. Putting shit back together is "easy" if you stay organized. I used some over the couter moly lube for the arp stuff, and a combo of some autoZone assembly lube and lucas oil stabilizer. I cleaned everythign with mineral spirits, since carb cleaner didnt work as well as i would like. I kept things nice and clean durring the off time with WD40 and a nice garbage bag. I leanred WHY/HOW all these chemicals work and how cool they really are...and that if you take a white paper towel, spray it with WD40, wipe off a clynder wall, (or anything really) the towel should still be white! If not clean that shit, otherwise you too will have scored bearings and/or cylinder walls...and your rings wont seat well.
BTW, Doing shit alone makes you even more manly....or moar stupider! The engine and hoist fell over once, that in turn caused the car to lift off of jack stands, and it put the engine in the bushes! Luckely, it fell very slowly, and i was able to put the car back on jackstands and get the engine out of the bushes without much trouble.

I also put a hole in my chinese radiator installing the engine. Thank God i have a replacement thats the correct size ready to go.
Also, the car woudnt start at first...becasue teh gas cap was off. That, and im sure i needed to put some "sta-bil" in the gas tank since it sat for months. I also had to re-tune the idle via turboEdit, becsue after a few mins the shit stalled from running pig rich. Once I played with the fuel, it ran great.
Now, I neeed to drain the oil, put hte wheels and shit back on, and drive her hard!
The engine consitsts of:
89 head
browntop ZC cams
87 block bored .020 over
89 rods
nippon racing pistons (stock replacements of the correct bore)
some wierd brand bearings
DSM 450 injectors
MLS head gasket
ARP head studs
Anyway, on to the pics.
