Hey, 87 si misfiring, idk what the problem could be, figured it was the cap or rotor button, haven't checked yet and wanted ideas before i start looking it over.

The computer doesn't throw codes but the pgm-fi light is lit up, however it was lit up awhile back and the computer didn't throw codes and it still ran fine.

started methodically misfiring, not irradic but regular and idles fine, runs fine but sputters and gets 1/3 or so power loss...

i'm lost, but i figure if the points on the disty or button were bad maybe that could cause it.

this is my first honduh, and what a piece LOL

black 5spd perfect compression good tires rear is stripped but still here, just put new fluids in it today all around redline mtl and havoline 10-40 with long life antifreeze in teh radiator so it's good to go.

just needs a new driver since i've got 1500$ in court fees and i've got to clean out my yard.

the crx should be able to drive about anywhere, it's got a new clutch, semi new cv axles in it and new fluids so it shouldn't have any problems for the next few years LOL

I just decided today to sell my crx project... it's a 87 crx si (black) 5spd decent tires, good interior (taken out from seats back) black hood with blue stripe, some of the trim is cracked up and missing from teh bottom of the doors, has 180-185 compression all the way across.

I originally bought this car for a 'cheap' turbo project (700 with a bad clutch) but it isn't going as planned and I'm out of patience and money.

Mods are

200$ ebay special clutch for 200hp

190$ apexi v-afc (allready installed)

75$ 02 wrx intercooler (80% efficient at 14psi)

70$ greddy knockoff bov (mounted to ic)

85$ manifold with adapter plate for t3 turbo

150$ oil filter relocation kit with oil cooler (easier to run turbo lines off of)

200$ t3 greddy airresearch .42 .48 turbo (good to ~275hp)

~85$ for t3 downpipe flange 4an line and oil intake and outlet to 1/2 nipple

Charge pipe from throttle body to front of car behind bumper support

Homemade oil catch can

I GOT ARRESTED, I NEED COURT COSTS 1500 MINIMUM ACCORDING TO THE JUDGE

At the moment the car is sitting dissasebled in my garage with no front end on it, no fluids in it, and no exhaust on it. (all of this can be fixed with a few hours of time or before you pick it up if your offer is good enough)

The car is located in chapin south carolina (exit 91 off I26)

this would make a geat hydra swap, just sold the distributor and cam sensor but may be able to get extra if you absolutely needed them.

I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.

FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed.

Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear... "You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We went onto the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you...she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled WHAT?"

I then said "honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman." And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"
