Unfortunatly, I can not add photos in my thread - how do I do this? I have my photos on directupload andwould like to add from there. Does anyone have instructions for me?

Sure...
Step 1: Be sure to upload your image to a image storage site that allows public access. (Example: Google Picasa, Imgur, Photobucket)
Step 2: Open your image file in a browser to obtain the URL. You can confirm that you are selecting the correct URL if the last three characters matches the file type that you uploaded (ex. '.jpg' or '.png')

I have the Problem that I can paste the URL into the box, but when I hit "OK" nothing happens!

Just sign up on photobucket.com and copy the IMG address they give you then paste it here. That's all I did below.

Are you using a PC or mobile device? The process is slightly different depending on what you're using. It might actually be a browser/plug-in issue. What browser are you using?

I use the PC and Mozilla Firefox...
Ok, I tested it in Internet Explorer and there is clearly an issue. The "OK" and "Cancel" buttons aren't selectable in the Image Properties window. The only browser that seems to work with this feature is Google Chrome. Trying using Chrome and see if that fixes the issue.
