As it was, it was nearly undrivable. Ten laps was ok but 16 was all I had in me. Two more and I would have headed to the trailer, and probably not made it. My arms were jello. It HAS to be a little better. I'm bringing it closer to my chest so I will be using larger muscle groups. Looks like rain again Saturday...

Got the driverer's side sway bar link mounted. The passenger side is mounted normal. I'm hoping for zero bottoming and more traction. My H throttle body and ported intake is ready to mount but with swapping the driver's side torsion bar for a wagon bar, re-scaling the car, and adjusting ride height, it won't get mounted by Saturday.

Yea, I heated and bent the sway bar so the suspension wouldn't contact the end of the adjustable link. Sorry for such a crappy phone pic.

This has gotta give me a little more leverage. I moved it about 3" closer to me also. Any more and it would limit my motion a little.

You'll have to let me know how it works for you. I finally am ready to practice my new rig tomorrow!

I'll find out this afternoon! I'm running tristate again and Poe is coming. We've both kinda took the year off.. Just standing outside the car and turning the wheel seems to take much less effort. Even with dropping front tire pressures by two pounds.

I'm pretty anxious. I believe with my better exit speed I can keep up with him in the straights. The starting lineup will have a LOT of influence on the outcome. I think it will be difficult for either of us to pass the other. It really sux I jacked around and didn't get the bigger T/B installed or toy with the alternator delete. I' may have time today to go wire a switch on the input side of the alternator so I can turn it off under green and on during yellow or red.

Moving the wheel closer and going up to 17" was awesome. I still got tired but would have likely not finished the race withe the stock set up. With 8" rubber, a 2:1 quickener, and a lot of sawing on the wheel in the clay trenches, it was a godsend. Now I gotta go back to pick up another trophy... Batting 1.000 so far. 2 runs and 2 trophies.

Finally back at it.  Got wrecked and took a few months off.  I chained the car down in the carport (6x6 posts) and with a 2 ton come-a-long, and a 6,000 pound tractor, i got the front end straightened out.  I had to put the steering rack in the 20 ton press and straighten it out.  And FINALLY, I installed the 60mm H throttle body and D intake that I had spent so many hours jacking with.  It only took a quarter turn on the butterfly adjustment screw to make her idle.  Throttle response is amazing and she pulls noticably harder.  Saturday racing was a "handfull" so I didn't pay much attention to the wideband until some yellow laps in the feature and I made some 3-4 second pulls that showed it in the 12.9-13.2 range.  Gonna need a couple psi to move it back in the 12.7 ballpark.  Had a TON of fun Saturday.  good to be back to the track.
