nopw that xenocron is on the board,
I have a laptop and want to run ecu control.
The laptop has a serial/com port, but no USB.
Do I need an adaptor, MAx223 or something? And where do I purchase it?

I'm not entirly sure but about yours but my ecu (motec datsun) just takes the input from the rs232 conection on the back. It's the small guy with about 6 pins I believe. If you need to you can build an adapter to fit any other port as well.
Also Dan, I would like to burn a chip for my civic but I need a pm6 ecu..
Anyone out there have one of those guys lying around?
I have a pg7 from 87 teg if interested. or cashola
or other stuff

The 88-89 Si's also have PM6s, but they are a bitch to chip. Be careful when buying a PM6 to make sure it is 90-91 if you intend to chip it.

That's why I specified 90-91.

I bought an 89 PM6 thinking I was getting a good deal ($30)... Just trying to keep others from doing the same!! Oh well, chipping an 89 is harder, but in some ways more interesting.
