Big improvement for your front suspension is some polyurethane front end link bushings from Summit racing for like 10 or 15 bucks... they really help make handling nice and tight like a go-cart! The factory rubber ones dry out and crack and get soft over time and I've even seen the mounting bolts get rusted enough that they snap off! You should be able to get some new OEM replacement (Gabriel) struts on ebay for about 60 dollars per pair unless you're looking for some adjustable Tokico's or KYB's of course!
BTW, I'm parting out my '87 DX hatchback ... blew the head gasket. If anybody needs something from it just PM me! The parts are nice and so is my price!

I have KYB struts/shocks front and back, Eibach springs, 89 integra torsion bars, and 89 teg rear sway bar. It was enough for me to win 1st C-stock autoX @ Englishtown's Honda Day. Only 1g CRX in the competion! Turbo didn't hurt either. Parting the car out so let me know if you need anything.

I got a set of Sachs gas struts and a rear set of Eibach Sportline springs for a CRX Si. Not sure if they would fit yours but figured I would pass it along.
