My friend chris(soon to join) just did a browntop swap in his 87 hf and it ran a 15.4@89mph

B16A1 is the OBD0 engine. Its actually called a B16A they never stamped any of the motors B16A1. There are B16A2 and B16A3 with OBD1 and OBD2 ECU systems. Same motor more or less just more wiring required to hook them up.

yeah i was getting high 6s. but this was with cams, header, exhuast. 15.09@90mph

mine puts down 5.5 sec 60s on street tires.
The B16B is a great motor basically a B16a with more compression. Trick to one of these is the OBD1 and hydro trans. More wiring and you either have to custom make your trans mounts or sell the trans and get a cable unit.

the zc1 1,6-16v crx runs from 0-100km/h in 8 sek. i think that 60 miles is 96,something in km/h.

if you have access to a pick-n-pull you can find a car with a hyro clutch, and get the pedal, mastercylinder, and hoses, there is room for the clutch mastercylinder on our cars

yes but there is the issue with the hydro trans not working with the MOUNTS

with as much other cuxtom fab work that you would have to do, why couldnt a person make the trans mount too. its not like a b16 swap can be done in an hour or two anyways, if ur gonna do the swap u'll have the motor out long enough to build mounts. besides, its not like anyone will be able to see how professional ur welds look. but hey thats just my opinion
