I just got my head back from the machie shop. The ports were flow matched on a flow bench, chambers were brought out to 75.5mm as well as some minor unshrouding for the valves. I also bought a set of the crespo valve springs to keep everything tight. After everything I spent about 700. He also matched my intake to the head (port size not gasket size) so that there is no lip to disturb air flow. I should have my car back up this weekend (still re working the oil cooler lines).

Cj

PS. The same guy rebuilt my current head when I did the build (5-7k miles) Has all the caps/valves and minor port work and was thinking of selling it for the same price as the one your talking about so if your intrested let me know.

it doesn't matter if its a 86-87 head or if its an 88-89 head......

Both dizzy's will fit with all bolts.....

That last dizzy side cam cap determines the top bolt location for the coresponding dizzy.....

if you want to use a 86-87 dizzy use a 86-87 last cam cap...
if you wanna use a 88-89 dizzy use the 88-89 last cam cap....

I also saw this on the site you found it.....(don't want to give it away...)

a 3 way valve gob is irrevivant without the valves to go with it.....

as far as porting.....It looks clean...But I would want to see it in person before I jumped the gun....

I don't see how it was pressure tested with no valves/springs/retainers either?

yea, i don't know how he did all those tests without the stuff attached. i don't think im going to buy it anyways, there is a lot of work that still has to be done since there are no matching cam caps. i know how to attach the dizzy on there..that wasn't my biggest concern. thanks for the help though!
