I'll put down my rallyx specs, I do change things when I run on pavement. Engine, .080 off the head, flat top integra pistons with .125 exhaust valve relieves, reground cam, SI head, SI inner valve springs with DX outer springs, 2 barrel Webber. SI tranny with welded diff, racing clutch. For rallyx only I would run the suspension stock, except for sway bars. remove the front bar and add at least 1 rear bar. I run 2 rear bars, an addco and an ST. With stock springs, stock KYBs are good enough. I run a racing proportioning valve on my front brakes, you have to re-sort your brake lines to do this as they come crossed corner to corner. This will give you more effective left foot braking, helping you rotate the car. I run snow tires, as they are cheap, you can get by with just running them on the front, Dave

Any pics on how you mated the si head with the carb? Are you running the ewa3 lower end as well? Who reground your cam?

I took my cam to Stirts Machine in Oakland ca, and asked him for a full race cam, it was 70.00. Its just a re grind cam, they can't get much duration in a re grind, but you don't want an engine with a narrow power band for rallyx, most any cam grinder can make you a similar cam. The DX intake bolts up to the SI head and the 2 barrel webber bolts to it with an adapter. You will need to close the cvcc holes in the manifold and port match the manifold and adapter a little where it joins the carb. As long as you don't have an HF model block, you're good. Also if you have FI, just run with that, more better, Dave
