I just got gifted a mitsu TD04 turbo today, and a cast iron t flange mani I'm excited to say the least. This is my first turbo build and I'm really excited about finally being able to gather parts and start the build, hopefully I can have it boosted and tuned by summer of 2011 ready for the track!

If you don't know already I've got a 86 Si hatch with a JDM DOHC ZC engine and I'm looking forward to showing you all my progress, it may be slow going at times but it'll be going none the less! Thanks guys!

Got some new wheels in a trade, but now I have the chance to trade for some ls mesh's. I think I'm gonna trade, Idk... but here is a pic of one on the car now lol

Hey everyone how's it goin?

Alright, I've got a 86 si hatch with a jdm dohc zc engine and I'm going to be gathering parts and hopefully boosting this winter if I get all the parts and have it up by next race reason. Yay!

Seeing that its an oddball engine and an even more oddball chassis I can't find any builds to find any info from so, has anyone here ever boosted a zc AH/AG hatch? Or know any valuable information they could send my way? Or problems you encountered that I may? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Main problems I've thought of:
Piping - is it gonna have to be completely custom?
Manifold and turbo - it seems like its gonna be a tight fit, any suggestions?

OK, I had a couple extra steelies laying around and since I'm still rolling on steelies anyway I figured why not spruce em up a bit. So I painted one of the extras I had and set up next to it to see what it looked like (tires flat or I would have mounted it) and I think I like.

What do ya'll think?

I've got an 86 si hatch powered by a dohc zc. Also I've got a 94 ex with JDM d15b vtec engine too... the coupe is the wifes car and is unmolested other than the engine swap and is an automatic... I'm just wondering if you guys think I should keep the zc or go with JDM d15b? Mild build and boost is planned for whichever one is in my hatch.
