Starting a new thread here hoping for some quick responses. I am looking for a reputable shop anywhere in Southern California that works on a lot of 1g's. I would like someone to check out an 87 HF that I just purchased and maybe do a little refreshing before I taking it 400 miles across the desert. I'll be going tmrw so quick respones would be much appreciated. Once I get it here I'll shoot some pics and do an intro post.

So you want to find a specialty shop that works on 1g's and is open on Memorial Day, have them check it over completely today, and then drive it 400 miles tomorrow? I'm going to need rosery beeds, a magician's cape, and a member from the audience. Just eat burgers and drink beer like everyone else today, the Honda will make it just fine. P.S. bring tools. -Bill

That is really short notice but I'd say I am pretty much the most commercial "expert" around here. I am not going to get really down and dirty but I can give you an evaluation of the car and let you know if I think you need anything done.

or just a wireless intenet connection (that way you can access this site), take a laptop, a 8mm, a 10mm, a 12mm, a 14mm, a 17mm, in a wrench and a socket, a flat head and a phillips screwdriver and you will be all set. Dont forget extra hoses, belts, and at least a gallon of water.
