i been think about trying to lower my crx by reindexing the torsin bars just wondering if anyone has done this does it take any special tools about how long does it take will there be alot of pressure in the bars any special tricks that will make it easier to do

big hammer and something to use to deliver the punch inside the torque tube. you really shouldn't reindex or even drop the car without upgrading the torsion bars, they are waaay too soft and will bottom out like crazy. get a set of teg torsion bars/tubes from a jy for an extra $30 and reindex those... you might as well

Don't forget the struts. You'll be banging them against the bump stops, especially if you keep the soft stock torsion bars.

Either buy shorter body struts (like Mr D's Medieval Pro/Teins), or lower your existing struts in the knuckles by filing off the brake line brackets. There have been several writeups on this; here's a nice one by Kakabox:

Indexing torsion bars isn't too difficult. Nonetheless, if you're going to the trouble to pull them out, you may as well swap in stiffer JY units as zakats has mentioned, or buy new ones from Upgrade Motoring

if use the stock t-bars and lower my shock in the nuckle would i be alight for not bottoming out im going to replace with new ones if i do that
