Might work. Will depend on the rims and the tyres, and how stiff the suspension will be.
Front
You need 5 inches from the back of the centre hub on the rim to the inner side of the wheel. You need that to clear the damper body. I have run 8 inch wide rims and I can see where the paint has been rubbed off the damper by the tyre, so the clearance is literally paper thin.
You have to clear the edge of the outer fender with the tyre. More camber will help, but only if you have sufficient clearance to the damper - see above. You can pick up a bit by reducing the inner fender edge. A stiffer suspension can also help by restricting travel up.
And the third part of the puzzle is the rim has to clear the brake caliper body at the inside and outside edges. Some rims fail this test, even at 15 inch, because of the way the centre hub and spokes are constructed..
Rear
You have to clear the trailing arm and the strut on the inside. Same principle as the front.
You have to have the tyre tuck into the wheel well and inside the fender when the car rolls in a corner or is loaded in the rear and squats. Roll the inner fender lip flat. If that's not enough, you can use a section of wood and a jack to push the outer fender out a bit. Yes I have done both. There may need a slight adjustment to the panhard bar if you have lowered the car. I was surprised at how well the suspension worked to allow quite wide rear tyres to be fitted.
Trial fit time. Don't committ until you see it can work.

Thanks for all the info! I will have to wait till I get my adjustable panhard bar and the I will be able to test fit the wheels. I also have a set of 15x7 wheels that I will try out also. Maybe it not being so wide will help with clearance.

IM running 16X7 +40 they fit great and have good coverage with my BC Coilover suspension set up no issues also the +36 will fit as long as you don't have after market brakes or bigger calipers form another gen I had 15x7 -30 rims on here with stock brakes so you should be able to fit those good
