Need Help Finding A Shifter Bushing

say, you said it wont seal with the shortblock. how can you tell the difference between it not sealing to the block and it not sealing with the head? is the leak coming out BETWEEN the gasket and the block instead of the gasket and the head?

im just wondering if its as simple as that to tell what its not sealing with or if you know this because you've already pulled the head off?

(just so you know this isnt me secondguessing you or something, this is to share info that could possibly help someone else with a similar problem)

JK tongue.gif Naw we had the head machined, and the head was in running order. I recommened him a new short block, he just wanted it to last a bit longer.

Will a d15a3 (87 si) engine fit in the 86 with no problems (including efi wiring)? We are having trouble finding a motor for this guy!
