I've been here for a while and I think it's time to start a build tread for my 3g v2.
v2 because my first attempt with the brown top ended up with a spun rod last December. I was planning on rebuilding the motor however with the lack of a new oil pump I decided to go a different route.
Some of you I have met at some of the Bay Area meets. I'm the guy with
the white 86 Si hatch. The original swap was smog legal through CARB(Cali peeps know what's up). My new swap will be along the same lines. I have done many mod's to the hatch and if there's something that catches your eye feel free to ask questions. I would be more than happy to share info or how-too's.
Well stay tuned of what's to come.

Here is the car as it was found. My friend spotted it in front of a oil change place. The owner had service preformed and told them to park it on the street. It turned out to be someone I knew hrough someone else.
He was one of the first owners. We worked out a price on it cash and labor. He was going to give it to his son but the son preferred the EG's.

Yeah, I'm kinda partial to them too.
Me too... wait. White 86' CRX Si's count too right?
I cannot tell you how much I like your engine bay. It looks just like Honda dropped that motor in from the factory. Love it. One day I would love love love to have an OEM look browntop swap in my DD. Fantastic.
I also wish my CUSCO front bar was in that good of shape.

You are probably going to be upset with me when you find out my what I'm up to next.
Also it helps when the strut bar is new. Krylon has a blue with metallic that is really close to the Cusco color.

Nah... I love all types of syles and swaps in these bays, and with how good that one looked, I'm sure you'll do an amazing job on the next stage of your project. But it still looked really nice before. What did you have in mind?
Do they? I may have to look that up. You don't happen to have a link do you?
