Be careful here, a lot of parts manufacturers switched to one LCA in place of carrying two different lengths, and they went with the Civic/CRX length.  Before you order, check the product specs to make sure it's the right size.  If at all possible, find some NOS parts.  Good luck.

Road & Track magazine: "When they get around to listing the top good-time inventions of the late 20th century, we're willing to bet that right up there with the hang gliders, ultra lights, sailboards and jet skis you'll find the Honda Civic CRX. And we're willing to bet that the CRX won't be at the bottom of the short list--particularly if the CRX in question is an Si."

I found an 86dx on craigslist from which i managed to strip a lot of parts. i got a very dirty carpet, washed a bunch of dirt out of it but its still pretty nasty. cleanish now though.

Its fine for me now. I may end up dying it black my whole interior black in the future ahyways.

Here is the final install of the modded console. prelude deck and equalizer. Some bits are a bit rough but plenty fine for my style.

Just a small update and a small problem.  The problem is that my fuel economy is much lower than expected.  I'm estimating 30mpg tops highway at 60 miles/hour absolutely babying it, and 20mpg city normal driving.  Now this was my first swap, so I think it is probably something wired incorrectly because many connectors had to be swapped.  The only other problem I can think of is that at low speeds, when pressing the gas pedal a tiny bit I will lose rpms momentarily before rising.  This only happens at lower speeds and only if the pedal is pressed in the minimum amount.  Could this be a MAP sensor issue?

For an update, I've installed chedda's camber/castor plates and have been DDing the car for the last couple months.  I've fiberglassed all the new panels and really the only outstanding thing to add is the rear flaps.  Other than the mpgs and short gearing (i miss the hf gearbox!) everything is working great.  Oh I also made some DOHC prgm fi stickies for myself.
