i just bought a set of 205/60/R14 falken ziex ze-502's for my 87 crx si a month ago, and tehy are the most capable tires i have ever owned. they have superior dry and wet traction, excelent dry cornering, very capable wet cornering, and even have enough traction to pull my car around decent in our recent 14" of snow.

the ZE-502s have been discontinued for several years now, they were superceded by the ZE-512s

i disagree with your appraisal on their performance (although the ZE-512s are an improvement over the 502s).

i call them slip-o-matic tires, because even when you lightly push em, all they do is slide.

they are, however, a pretty good, well-wearing, quiet, all-round tire for their price.
