Ok, we have gotten more work done since this shot, but this is a decent shot of what is done so far:
The engine bay is alot more "full" since we got in the clutch and throttle cables, wiring, and most of the hoses.
We pulled the stock radiator, and we are installing a 99/00 Civic Si radiator. When we did the shift linkage, we converted it over to a 99/00 civic shifter, easier to find parts, but the downside is the B&M shifter I have is a straight one, and hard to reach. Need to look into other shifters, peferably one with a bend in it. We also got burnt on a distributor, so I had to find one from somebody else, and is going to put back me having a car for probably another week... Sucks big hairy ballz. All in all, the project is looking good. I have much thanks to David "hybrid_hatch" Sparling for alot of the work. Mr. Disability for getting me the Hasport mounts as well, but he didn't get me no stickers.... ( he was out, just giving him a hard time).
All in all, this is going to be fun. We already have a bare GSR head sitting on the bench, I figure we will get that put in about 6 months to a year.

Well, for one, use ONLY a acura intake gasket. The other one I got with a kit was too thick, and you need THAT much clearance between the intake and firewall.
I will do a more detail writup later.
Oh, and most importantly, talk to Mr. Disability on getting the Hasport Mount kit. They make the swap that much easier.

Don't forget to replace your pistons and tranny if you want to go LSVTEC. It can work, but keeping the LS's onbnoxiously wide gear ratios and low compression isn't the best way to make power.

Nice job. I bet its going to be fun once it will be out on the street
You will let unsuspected drivers , when you hit the throttle.

90 LS 1.8 B18A1
--Rebuilt LS head
--New piston rings and bearings on stock pistons and rods
Hasport Mount Kit
Raxels Front axles <-- these are "beefy" and look damn nice
88-89 Teg front disks
2.5" mandrel bent exhaust
--2.5" flowmaster
--2.5" high flow CAT
90-91 clutch cable
99-00 Civic R throttle cable and intake cable mount
99-00 Shifter linkage with B&M short shifter
90-91 Iceman CAI w/ K&N filter
Full 86 Si wire loom. (remember, mine was a carbed DX)
99-00 Civic Si radiator (mounted infront of front frame)
OBDII throttlebody with MAP sensor on intake, instead of separate.
90-91 DC Headers exhaust header

I am going to try to take more pics. Right now the new radiator is just kinda "hanging" there.
As for tools, nothing to extravagant (spelling?). I supplied the air tank and most of the air tools. I think the hardest thing was making the altinator fit (torch and hammer) and the intake fit (hammer). Other than that, having wire cutters and a soldering iron to change alot of plugs on the Si harness.
This is the clearance on the intake to firewall with a "3 layer" intake gasket. You can see where we "modified" the firewall to work. I will try to take another picture with the actual Acura gasket on there with better clearance.

**UPDATE**
Ok, we beat the heck out of the drivers side to allow the altenator to fit. It is close, but it looks like it is going to work.
The 2.5" exhaust is in. It actually fit alot better than I thought. No pics yet, but all I can say is that it fits into the stock "track" with the heatshields, and the flowmaster 40 series muffler I got fit just perfect into the stock placement for the muffler on a DX.
All in all, things are coming together nicely. Have the VSS figured out, and all we need to do is switch a few wires, and add a few more to the ECU plugs, and change some plugs under the hood. She should be running by this friday!

Ok, you asked for it!
My iceman intake should be here tomorrow. For now, all I have to say is that this car is a torque munster! I really have to learn how not to launch the car in 1st and not spin the tires....

Do you have better pics of the mounts? Or did you use HASport?
