HOLD ON A SEC! So if i go to nippon-motors.com and buy the 88-89 ZC engine that it has under its jdm performance engines, <along with the tranny and ecu> does that mean that all i need is 86-89 teg US in order to take its mounts, axles, harness, and if i want to steal whatever else fits off a parts car?

Yes, if it came from an Integra! If not, it came from a Civic/CRX, and will not bolt in like that. Here is the Integra black top ZC:

I have a question. What mounts are used in the blacktop zc to fit in the 1g rex? I heard of it done before but no info on the mounts. Just curious is all.

If you are referring to the JDM 88-89 Integra ZC, then it mounts the same as a brown top ZC/D16A1. If you are talking about the 88+ Civic/CRX ZC, then it is all custom.

you mean the JDM 88 integra ZC.

1989 was a g2 integra in japan...

What is the engine code of the "integra zc"? The stamp on the block? Does it actually say ZC?

it says ZC. the only way I know of to tell the difference between the g1 teg ZC and the g4 civic / g2 teg ZC is visually.

the civic ZC has the valve cover bolts on the edge of the valve cover and the "H" emblem on the exhaust side of the valve cover.

the integra ZC looks just like a black top D16A1.

the model change comes mid year. so technically for a couple months they still built the 85-89 model integra. same thing with the crx. japan got it as a late 83 model. 3g civic si's were still being sold as early 88's untill the new hatch back came out towards the middle of the year.
