After much thought and going back and forth for weeks, I have decided to sell my E Prepared Civic. The car ran in limited prep G Prepared last season and was in the process of being converted to a full prep EP car, but my needs have changed, so the car is for sale. I love this car and think it deserves to be finished into something cool, but I won't be able to do it myself.

I am offering the car as it sits, and the buyer can go several directions with it: limited prep EP with factory injection and wide wheels, full prep EP with aftermarket injection and wide wheels, or full prep EP with a different fully-built engine. The builder of the current engine has a fully-built EP engine going together right now, so I can get the buyer in touch with him if interested. If the car hasn't sold within a reasonable amount of time, I will part the car out. Solo Nationals showed that the 84-87 chassis continues to be one to have in the class, and this is a great starting point for someone. The car easily makes minimum weight in either prep level.

Details:
-1986 Honda Civic hatchback, RUST FREE and NO DAMAGE, extremely clean chassis
-White exterior with Mugen vinyl stripes, gloss gray painted interior and engine bay
-Gutted to class rules, including doors, hood, and rear hatch
-Lightened bumpers
-Lexan side and rear hatch windows (done very well)
-Corbeau Forza seat
-Momo steering wheel and hub
-Autometer gauges: tach, oil pressure, water pressure, fuel level
-Autopower bolt-in race roll bar (currently in car, but could be easily removed)

-1.5 liter EW engine built to limited-prep rules (overbore, custom cam, 11.0:1 compression)
**This engine was in the car last year and suffered a spun rod bearing late in the season. It has been
taken apart and cleaned throughout, and the bearing has been replaced, but the replacement crank
needs to be machined to this block. Otherwise, this engine should be good to go.
-Solid engine mounts
-4-2-1 header, ported and coated, never been on the car
-2.25" exhaust dumps just behind driver
-Aluminum racing radiator
-Lightened flywheel machined for more clamping force
-CRX Si transaxle, rebuilt with OPM limited slip diff
-New Si fuel tank, adjustable fuel pressure regulator

-Koni front struts, double adjustable, revalved, shortened
-OPM caster/camber plates
-29mm torsion bars
-CRX HF front sway bar
-New lower control arms
-Koni rear coilovers, double adjustable, revalved, shortened
-Hyperco 600# springs
-Locked rear internal sway bar
-Adjustable panhard bar with reinforced mount
-New bushings throughout, rubber, poly, and Delrin

-Front brakes: new rotors, calipers, bearings, & ARP studs, braided hoses, Hawk pads
-Rear brakes: rebuilt aluminum drums, ARP studs, new OEM shoes
-CRX HF steering rack (quickest ratio), new boots and tie rods

-13x9" Real Racing wheels
-13x5" OEM wheels/tires for rollers

I really don't have a great idea of what this should be worth, so I'm pricing it in the above prep at $5,000. There is about double that amount in the car as it sits, especially because of some of the unicorn parts like the shocks and LSD. This will include the factory wiring, Integra ECU, and intake manifold (refurbished and with newly blueprinted injectors). A person would just have to machine the new crank, then install the drivetrain and add fresh tires to run limited prep EP. Or the buyer can pick and choose from the following parts and adjust pricing accordingly.

OPTIONAL & EXTRA PARTS available separately or after the car sells:

-3 quart Accusump system, partially installed, but never used
-Moroso EW baffled oil pan
-Remote oil filter system with EW adapter
-Jenvey ITB intake system with 2 sets of horns for tuning (this can work on any 4 cylinder engine, BTW)
-Electromotive TEC3r standalone management (bought used, but sent to Electromotive to be checked and updated software-- this can be used on any engine also)
-Brand new AASCO aluminum flywheel for EW engine, never installed
-Swift 6-inch 9k springs, pair
-OPM 19mm adjustable rear sway bar
-13x7" Revolution RFX wheels, set of 4, good condition
-13x6" VTO wheels, set of 4, like new condition, mounted to pairs of Hoosier slicks 20x9.5/20x8.0
-13x5" CRX Si wheels, set of 4, ugly & one leaks a bit
-13x5" OEM steel wheels mounted to Hoosier rains 20x8.0
-Four or five spare EW engines (some complete), Si heads, transaxles (one has a Mugen limited slip diff)
-4 OEM EW intake manifolds
-Lots of EW accessory items (starters, alternators, distributors)
-Spare EW crank
-Set of OEM EW engine mounts
-Spare set of HF aluminum drums
-OEM wiring harnesses (most from 86-87 Civic Si, but a couple from CRX and carbed Civic)
-Set of 86-87 Civic Si tail lights
-Lots of backup fuses, wires, hoses, etc. for the 84-87 chassis
-1985 CRX HF roller, kind of ugly, has fiberglass hood and fenders

The buyer would have dibs on any of the above parts (on or off the car), but if there is something you are interested in, let me know, and I can contact people at the point when I decide to part out the car. Contact me by PM with any questions.

Wow.

Please keep us up to date on when the car sells and when the spare parts are available. Best of luck, that's a killer deal.

No, it's still in my garage under its cover. The pending buyer is being very difficult about picking it up, and I have no deposit in hand, so I'm on the verge of calling it off and selling to the next person in line. I hope to know soon.

Were you asking because of interest in the car, or interest in parts?

The whole car actually.  Let me know if you have to cancel with the current buyer.
