I picked up a new 1G, Mini that is.  After selling my 1g CRX Si at the end of 2015 to help pay for the move, I have had a craving for another go cart.  Availability of parts forced me out of G-Stock two years ago, so it feels good to be back in a stock class, D Street.  My last two 87 Si's have been the newest vehicles I've owned in over 10 years.  Decided to do a little upgrade.

After racing against Mini Coops for so many years, and seeing them perform flawlessly, I decided to give one a shot.  I did my first AutoXAtlanta event this past Sunday.  I gotta say, I'm quite pleased with the car.  I still am not a fan of the drive by wire throttle.

Under steer is when you hit the wall with your front end.
Over steer is when you hit the wall with your rear end.
Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you move the wall.

I really like the first gen minis.  Their design is truest to the original minis.  The current cars are too large and funky looking.  I hope to see you at the Atlanta AutoX events shortly!

And we're willing to bet that the CRX won't be at the bottom of the short list--particularly if the CRX in question is an Si."
