we are all 90% sure these are not steel fenders. honda never made steel stamping machines for CRX fenders... so there is none to buy post production...

Not steel.. as much as we all want them to be they are not, its just a generic info description used on all his fenders.. It's been proven for years and years they are not steel..

I started a thread about this a couple weeks ago... I doubt they're steel... but you could experiment with them since they'd be responsible if their description is incorrect

well, i just committed myself to a 261 dollar experiment. i just ordered both fenders over the phone. the lady on the phone swore they are metal fenders not plastic....

and she said if there was something wrong with them, didnt fit, or were not steel that they would send pre paid shipping labels to return them...


im quite excited...

only thing is, i doubt there are any left in stock.... she told me how many were left... i wont say, if you want to check you need to call yourself. maybe you will get lucky!

I called too.. LOL.. It brings you to an overseas "filipino" call center lol..THEY SWEAR "based on the description it gives"... they are plastic man. YOU KNOW HOW I KNOW? BECAUSE WE ORDERED SOME FROM THAT PLACE LAST YEAR FOR MY BROTHERS CRX... She did say if they were wrong they would send a prepaid label... waste of time... They are not the only ones that sell the plastic ones either..

here at rpr, we're very blindly optimistic and have a short memory as well as attention span- rather than listen to logic, we rather try it for ourselv.... what was I talking about? NO you can't use EF mounts in a 3g!

You'll want the UPS guy to come pick up the box if (I'll be blindly optimistic and not say "when") you have to return them. When I bought my pair of fenders, they were shipped in a ginormous box the size of a refrigerator. We still have a couple garbage bags of styrofoam peanuts left over.

ok, so they arent metal. we already know that but my question is if they are a good quality plastic and how the fitment is? i dont care what the ad says, i just want an option for good fenders
