i never noticed your fenders look extra wide and square compared o the mugens. what are they?

they are home-made.

My flares are made by a guy called Ron O'Brien, he's a local race prep guy. There are only 4 cars that have that kit in existence, 2 full blown race cars, an 86 DX and then mine.

The black Rex in the background is Charley's parts car......it's really rough but has a ton of useful stuff on it.

On the only authentic Mugen CR-X (it was a JDM model) I have seen in person, the rear flares were slapped on over the stock quarters and so there was no additional room for a wider track or more wheel width.

On your car, did you remove the stock quarters to get more room under the flares?
