Hello Guys,

Im on the point of ordering a set of hybrid axles from marty at raxles.com
Im using Hasport Engine Mounts and an SK7 intermediate axle (the SK7 is the intermediate shaft from a 90-93 manual transmission integra). and im asking myself will the RAXBGEN3 hybrid axles (84 - 87 Honda, Civic CRX B Series Swap) fit.

Are any of you guys running the exact same axles on a 1st gen with Hasport mounts?

i asked Marty if they would fit and he send me a picture of an intermediate axle that doessnt really look like an SK7 intermediate axle so im just checking.

Greetings Erwin.

There is an SK7 stamp on the back of the intermediate shaft. At least, that;s the case on mine.
If it says PR3, it's the wrong one.

P30/P73 look totally different (male instead of female), so you probably won't have one of those.

Yes i bought a SK7 intermediate that has SK7 on it.. but marty send me a picture of a intermediate that lookt like it was male !! so i thought that aint a sk7 intermediate and wont fit my application.

ill have to check back to him wich kind of intermediate shaft he was using for the hybrid axles.

That's definately an > '92 intermediate shaft..
The SK7 should be visually the same as the one that came on your block (SH3 or PR3 stamped on it), just a tad bit shorter..

While the compressed length will give an idea of whether the axle will fit in the space, you would have to get your suspension compressed to the height where the distance from the wheel hub to the gearbox is at the minimum of the arc of travel.

I had custom axles manufacted from B series, and the shop came out to my garage and measured up  the exact length needed on my set-up.  They went for having the internals of the axle end (carrier?) in the middle of the cv hub, as that would optimise the axle for movements up and down the suspension travel.
