So.. If any on you havent seen my project.. check it out..

Today my car was at the mechanich shop to get pass the "MOT"/EU-test.

Anyway.. They called and said that they didnt do anything to the car, and that the car never would pass the test. Because of the rust in the front ( right side where everythin is fastened. I mean, the control arm etc.....)

So.. I've used like 3000$ on parts and 1 year of work..........

So.. What to do?

I friend of mine told me that we could fix it (he work as a painter, car repair etc.. ) .. But it would take time.. and money..

I'm SO fucking tired of this car.. All this work, and ALL the money.. OMG!!! What to do what to do.. I need to change the timing belt etc etc..

Should I just strip the car and sell the parts now ? (Nobody to sell them to here in Norway, cause nobody has the same car). Or should I try to fix it.. Use it little while and then sell it?

I need your help guys.. I'm so down ... Almost suicidel ..

Maybe you can get someone from the states to ship you one or something? or ship you what you need for a timing belt swap etc... It may be wayy cheaper than sourcing it from your country.. you can get new control arms/bushings etc... for the front end fairly cheap here.. They are not bad to change (well as long as you soak all those rusted bolts in penetrating oil for about a week lol).. I say just keep it and don't give up. If the car is that rare where you are why sell it?

Are you needing the whole K member, you know the part that connects all your suspension to the car, if so you may be in luck I just so happen to have one laying around with a whole crap load of extra parts from an 87 CRX SI that met a untimely demise. dry.gif

I need an HF tranny if you know any one around Missouri here in the states who would be willing to trade.

wow looks like you have all the rust spots that show up on crx's. Ship form the U.S. for bolt on parts Then go buy a MIG welder and some sheet metal and learn the fun of metal shaping

I had the same frustation trying to get the high idle down on my 87 crx so I
could smog it. I put $1000 into it and way to much work. I think the best thing
to do is sell it and get yourself a girl friend.

Good Luck
