Hey! So.. I tried to change the swaybar links . And.. Well.. I couldnt get it off. I tried to hammer it out of the "holes" but no look. Do I need to jack up the bot sides of the car? Or am I doing something else wrong? What is the trick? ohmy.gif

help! wink.gif

Are you sure you are removing the correct bolt?

It should be the stabilizer bolt pictured in the lower left corner of this page of the manual:

You basically have a bolt that passes thru the swaybar with rubber bushing on each side, a small spacer, and then more rubber bushings for the control arm and then the nut, just like it is pictured in the diagram.

If you jack up the side of the car, it will put the bolt in tension and should pop free when the nut is removed.

There really isn't anything to sieze up either....the holes in the swaybar and in the control arm are much bigger than the bolt. It's the rubber bushing that keep the bolt in position. Worst case is for the bushings to get shot and for the bolt to slip thru the hole.

Yeah. It is the same bolt.. I jacked up the whole front brakecalipter etc so that it wouldnt be under pressure. I got the swaybar loose, but I couldnt pull the bolt out (under) the controlarm .. But I'll try without jacking it up wink.gif thanks

Everytime ive ever tried to change out a endlink bolt its always broken. Water gets down between the rubber bushings and just corodes the hell out of the bolt and nut.

Mien is nor broken nor rusted... But god DAMN it is stuck.. The nut is on the top, not underneath. Looks like the rubber is stuck in the controlarm! And it dosent matter how much or how hard I try to HAMMER it out..
