I know this is a honda forum, but you guys are like.... the only forum i have respect for, and frankly, the mustang forums suck for the most part. I know i haven't been around alot, but i haven't been doing much that's car related besides school.
Here's the engine: (it's getting rebuilt, cleaned up, etc).
I was originally going to leave it together and run it, but after this (not the o-ring):
The carbon deposits were REALLLLY bad in some spots.
I did this in solidworks, took me a part of a weekend to figure out, but it's my first project in solidworks:
I am going to trumpet the runners inside the intake, weld and epoxy them from under. The notch at the top of the throttle body is to clear the factory tps, or i need a spacer. Runner length should be about 5in with 1.25-1.3in ID tubing. Plenum volume is 300ci or so..... on the large side, but the engine will be able to use that much air.
There is a pdf with some different angles here: link
Let me know what you think of it, or if you have ?'s
