my buddy and i put a new transmission in and i forgot to tighten the alternator pulley bolt.... needless to say it made quite a racket until it finally fell out and i ran the pulley over.... grrr

so its a sunday and i was going to go down to the parts store to see if they had a bolt that would work as a replacement...

anyone know what kind of bolt this is? it holds the alternator pulley to the crankshaft, so its quite large... i remember the head of the bolt being double the size in length of a reg bolt and i think it was 17mm but im not sure...

please help me......

That is a crank pulley bolt.  I doubt that your local pep boys or autozone will hwve one.  It is going to probably be a special order from honda.  I would chect the wrecking yards.

I think factory would be best. I might have the one off my D16 kicking around, or I could pull the one off my 133 block. If you have problems getting one let me know.
