right now i have a t2 turbo from a dodge daytona, but i have a chance for a t3 turbo from a saab, which would be best for my car?
i know that the t2 will spool quicker but how about top end power?
the t3 will spool later and have top end but will my ew be able to spool the t3?
and should i use an intercooler from the saab or a mitsu one?
and lastly will the injectors from a 87 teg and its ecu fit and work well or should i get different injectors?

well, all i have to say is figre out how to read maps. look at the last post on the topic below this one.
After you can read the compressor maps, than you have to find your specific turbo maps, (dunno how hard that is gonna be) and find the flow rate of your motor at different boost pressures and figure out if it creats enough cfm of flow to satisfy your engine.

I would say that if your car is a totally stock daily driver then go with the T2. If it's modded or will see the track often then go with the T3. Either one I think would work ok.

the t2 woudl be terrible.
dont bother.
Just put the t3 on and crank that biaacth up to 8 psi.
no point investing all this time and money to turbo your engine and be limited by a small turbo or run low boost.
This is the important question, what are you planning to use for fuel managment?

ok i did some research and the daytona turbo is not a t2. try to get a model number so we can help you decide.

yeah, the daytona had a t3, and i think some modles had a t25. also there was one with a variable nozzle to change the a/rs and stuff, not sure what that is tho

was the set up pretty simple and did you buy a line kit for the oil and coolant?
is it possible to make your own lines?
do you use a fmu also or something else?

if i were you, id look into something other than a fmu. they increase your fuel pressure beyond safe (in my mind at least) and the cause lean spots in the afr curve. Best bet on a si would be an afc hack with 450cc dsm's. no ignition problems like on the electronic ignition cars, which is its major downfall for a turbo.

what is an afc? air fuel control ???
is it expensive?
and the dsm injectors, any from the turbo'd dsms(old or newer)?

My CRX is way faster than stock. I never raced it so I can't give you exact numbers.
My set-up is standard issue Si gear.
The turbo is mounted to an HF exhaust manifold via a custom adapter I had made.
I use a MegaSquirt for my fuel management.
The oil line is an adapter I bought and regular metal brake tubing.
The coolant is a set of tee fittings on the heater hoses and special banjo fittings I bought on-line for the turbo end.
1G DSM side mount modified to work as a front mount.
Do a search for my name and the word turbo for the details.
