My 16 TSW Revos. Think 16x7, forget offset. Tires are 205/40r16 BF Goodrich Scorcher T/As with yellow.
The 13s on the car are there while I'll working on it.

Once I figure out what 14" tire I want I'll be running these.

I have 1991 Honda CRX Si rims and Falken Azenis. IMO, the Falkens are soft, grippy, wear very well considering the compound, but heavy, hydroplane, cannot be used in winter, and transmit vibrations from the road because of the stiff inflexible sidewall. It's the right tire for some people but not everyone. I don't like them particularly because they aren't a good street tire (hydroplane, harsh ride, and wear fast) and not a good race tire either (not soft enough). I would definitely buy another set of Falkens like the Ziex. I'll pass on the Azenis next time. It's not a good drag tire either. It makes you wonder what they are good for--street racing and drifting?

Thats interesting ive had lots of friends run Azenis, old and new style. And never has hydroplane ever been mentioned. I know everybody always said they dont have crazy grip in the rain that you should slow down a little bit. My friend with a 3.0 M3 swaped 318Ti infact drove 1.5hrs in the pouring rain the other week in a convoy to Hallet MotorSpeedway. He even raced in the rain for 1 heat and never said anything. All he had was praise for the tires. And at the same time i know alot of people with them took them to the local drag strip and ran awusome times. Just curious not saying your lying or anything but your probably the first bad review ive ever herd about Azenies. Which ones did you have the older Azenis 215 or the new Azenis 615?

on my old azenis i could definately tell when i was hydroplaning. on the new ones, not as much. the new ones are much better at evacuating water from the tread, but they still aren't as good as my all seasons.
1986 Civic Si; b16a is in.. just gotta get it running..
longest swap ever..... :(

I have the older version. It's the degree to which these tire hydroplane, and the Azenis do it a lot more than a regular all season radial, especially when the tread on the Azenis wears down. The point is I'd rather have an all season radial to drive around on the road and a real race tire for racing. I am going in that direction with two sets of wheels. Azenis are somewhere in between. BTW, Azenis are going to be a better wet tire on the track because they have tread, unlike a lot of race tire that are slicks.

Going to Hawaii? You need a Dune Buggy.

I have the Circuit 8s 15x7in around.....I want to pick up a new set soon to try something different. I need something at least 15x7 in the front though, but because I might be trying a larger drag radial, I want to see if I can find some 15x8 in the front.

I have the lenso for race day in gold.....but I dont have any good pics with them.

I swaped out 4 sets of 15's onto my 84 CRX right after I picked it up. The set that fit the best with the most tire was a set of Falken Hanabi 15x7 with a 42mm offset and a set of 205-50-15 Toyo RA-1's. They cleared the front and rear suspension by about a 1/4 inch and cleared the fenders as well. They also filled the wheel wells nicely. This was by far the best over all fit. The wheels were as follows;
15x7 Falken Hanabi's, 42mm offset, w/205-50-15 Toyo RA-1's. My $.02 only, = perfect fit, I'm picky.
15x6 LS mesh,? offset, w/195-50-15's
15x7 Momo's, 30mm offset, w/205-50-15's. These extended past both front and rear bodywork.
15x? ?brand, No stamped offset info, w/195-50-15's. No name tires=daily set up.
I have pics of each set installed but they are not hosted anywhere. I would be happy to post some pics if I could.

Jason
