Born in Ohio but only because my dad was back from Vietnam and working there.
Tennesse valley people seem to move around up that valley, TN, KY, OH.
In NC from 1969 (dad died in 1966).
NC the rest of my life except for a brief stint in the Army.
I've looked at moving to both Russia and Canada. It did not work out.
I once considered retiring early overseas.
Pretty much now I think I am in NC to stay. 1970-duration, sans Army.
It's not a matter of like or dislike I think. It's more like accepted, this is where I live.
Most likely this is where I die.
I prefer a climate 30F warmer.

Joined USMC after high school lived in Japan, been to Korea, Gaum, Thailand, Okinawa then met my wife and she got orders to Sicily, and got a chance to travel to England, Ireland,Spain, and Mainland Italy. I'm now back in what I consider my hometown with new shop and wouldn't trade any of life's journey but there's no place like home!

Born in WI and still live there, but in a different area. I like the mindset of small town middle America. Your handshake is your contract.

I have lived in Virginia my whole life, with the exception of when I was in college in North Carolina, and 1.5 years in Maryland, at my first real job.
Grew up (though not completely) on a farm outside of Richmond. I have lived in Suffolk (out in the country) since 1989.

Grew up outside of Chicago, IL. Spent a year in Nashville, TN for college, then moved back. Currently in Atlanta, GA for the last 3 years for work. I'd move back to Chicago in a heartbeat.

Road & Track magazine: "When they get around to listing the top good-time inventions of the late 20th century, we're willing to bet that right up there with the hang gliders, ultra lights, sailboards and jet skis you'll find the Honda Civic CRX. And we're willing to bet that the CRX won't be at the bottom of the short list--particularly if the CRX in question is an Si."

For me, I'm home in Eastern NC. One town from my home town. I did live in Aurora, CO for 4 years and while it was fun I like it here more. Less worried about some punks effin with my car while its parked or such, I do still lock it though. I think if I still lived around 24th and Dayton in Aurora with my current cars they would all get striped/stolen.
