So I have had the car for a month and now that the car is being driven regularly the signs of age are appearing.
The brake pedal squeaks, etc. THe most recent noise is a strange thumping that's noticeable particularly at the beginning of the trip.
It's kinda deep and intermittently knocking from the rear of the car. Been busy so haven't had time to dig in...
What could it be?
Loose panhard, sticky emergency brake, bad shocks?
I know nobody can know without hearing this noise, but if anybody has a top 5 list of things to check in the rear
I would be grateful!
Thx
Curt

Mine had the same symptoms. Wiggle the car left to right. If it feels like there is too much play, try tightening down your rear shock tower nuts. This can fix a loose strut mount and treat a worn strut mount.

I had that problem, My exhaust hangar broke and my axle was beating up against the exhaust.
