There is more money in boats in this economy. Everyone is selling them. Buy buy Buy! So when the economy rises many moons from now, the boat buyers today can unload their collection for profit. My point is, there is money in anything. Ya just need to put in the time and money and give it a shot. Trial and error is how fortune five dudies did it. Ofcourse, being surrounded by the right crowd helps! I like the Crx empire ideas on this topic. There is fun to be had and money to be made if you work hard enough at it and put your mind in control. For now, I will just bag my groceries at the local super market. Uncle Sam loves working fools like myself. Its fun though. Gets to check out cashier chics bum bums. MAkes time fly. On a serious note........

jeff, i cleaned the hell out of the carb and the emulsion tubes several times and it solved me problem. It is easy to unscrew these tubes once you get the plate off, but use a quality screw driver with good tips that is the correct size for every thing you unscrew. The stuff in there can be brittle. Have you checked your accelerator pump flow manually with car off? I read on here a while ago that this was an issue with another guy having bucking issues. He cleaned those orifices that the accelerator pump operates, after many attempts, and those were clogged.

Also, check your vacuum advance unit on the distributor as MadKore mentioned above. This is common. Try to spray the shit out of the secondary jets down below as well. To clean carb: Take the top carb plate off and you should be able to get to pretty much all the orifices to be cleaned. I put mini itty bitty wires in each hole and gently/slightly reamed them out. Do not ream the 3 holes at the bottom of your float bowl.

Just spray those out with carb cleaner and blow compressed air through em. I used this carb cleaner. It is the best! http://www.amazon.co...R/dp/B000CCMNAG You can buy it at advance auto for 160z is 5 bucks. walmart has it as well. I used wires as little as little coper strips off speaker wire for tiniest holes. Just eye the holes and get a wire just big enough for each individual hole so it cleans hole out. Dont break any wires off in holes or you are screwed. Good luck.. Check this forum write up. It is the process i went through: http://www.redpepper...showtopic=54001 Read it thoroughly from start to finish and try things step by step, it is filled with valuable stuff from guys who know their shtuff! In the beginning, it talks about timing marks. Don't mind that. If you need help, let me know
